The Balsillie Schools Global Climate Action Committee and the Environment and Resources Research Cluster would like to invite you to attend a debrief of the COP28 United Nations Climate Change Conference to be held on Thursday, January 25th from 12:00-1:00, in the boardroom (1-23).

Two of our very own students - Tamara Lorincz and Sarah Green were delegates at COP28 and will provide their thoughts on the event(s) of COP28, its outcomes, and what happens next. Additional speakers may be added based on availability.

The event will be an informal discussion, with BSIA Director Ann Fitz-Gerald acting as moderator to facilitate a dialogue. This event will be held under Chatham House Rules, will not be broadcast on zoom, and will not be recorded, to facilitate open conversation.

While this will be brown-bag lunch event, the Global Climate Action Committee will provide coffee and snacks.

Thank you,
