Hi Everyone! After a few years' absence due to Covid, WR Nonviolence
will have another Nonviolence Day In The Park, our 16th! Usually, this
weekend would be the date for DITP, but this time we're holding it a
little later in the year (10 September 2022).
I'd like to invite all of Waterloo Region's community groups to
participate under the banner of nonviolence with an exhibitor booth at
DITP. Community groups get a spot for free, but there's a $40
Vendor/Commercial fee for organizations that sell things (artwork,
jewelry, books, toys, hats, scarves, mittens, or membership fees).
Sorry, due to public health regulations we can no longer sell any food
items.
You can register at
https://wrnonviolence.org/day-in-the-park-exhibitor-registration/
Unfortunately, due to cutbacks by the City of Kitchener we can't supply
tables, chair, or canopies this year. That was our main source of
funding in past years; this year we're relying entirely on the Vendor
fees to raise the $800 we need for insurance, City of Kitchener fees,
programs, and other overhead. Vendor Early Bird fee is $40 to 10 August,
after 11 August the Vendor fee is $50.
And everyone is invited to put an ad in our program!
As usual, we'll be on Roos Island in Willow River Park (also known as
Victoria Park), DITP will be open to the public from Noon to 5:00pm;
exhibitor setup starts at 11:00am.

(Apologies if you get this message more than once. I sent it to several

if you get this message more than once it just means you're *very*
involved in the community!)
