Hello KW peace,

I hope you are all doing well.

The conflict between US/NATO against Russia is getting worse. This Saturday, peace groups across the country are going to stand with signs and call on the Trudeau government to de-escalate and demilitarize the crisis.

There are actions planned in Victoria, Vancouver, Regina, Winnipeg, Toronto, *Waterloo, Montreal and Cape Breton.

I'm going to do an action in Waterloo this Saturday at noon at the public square. I would love for you to join me for 30 minutes to stand for peace & say no war with Russia this Saturday at the public square for 30 minutes (masks and socially-distant). I will have some signs.

Canada just sent special forces, more soldiers and deployed a warship to the Black Sea. Since 2017, Canada has allowed the exporting of weapons Ukraine. Canada is militarizing the conflict and making it worse.  Canada should support neutrality for Ukraine and quite frankly Canada should get out of the alliance. NATO has been disastrous in Libya, Afghanistan and in this current crisis and it's high time it was disbanded.

An emergency rally organized by the Canadian Voice of Women for Peace and part of a Canada-wide day of action to #StandForPeace and say #NoWarWithRussia. We are alarmed about the escalating danger of a US-NATO war with Russia over Ukraine. We are opposed to Canada sending weapons, soldiers and special forces to Ukraine and making the situation much worse. We are calling on Canada to stop militarizing the conflict and to engage in diplomatic negotiations for a political solution and a lasting peace.
