Hi again! A quick update: This summer Roos Island in Willow River Park
is the home for people from FightBackKW, who are working on getting
affordable housing in Waterloo Region. So instead of holding the WR
Nonviolence Day In The Park on the island, the WR Nonviolence Day In The
Park will be near the clock tower in Willow River Park, still on
Saturday, 10 September 2022.
Map: https://osm.org/go/ZXnwTSw6--?m=
We anticipate this location will actually result in more foot traffic
from passers-by, the better for everyone to reach out and advocate for
nonviolence and social justice issues (and sell artwork, jewelry, books,
toys, hats, scarves, mittens, and membership fees).
Also a quick reminder to our vendors and "commercial" exhibitors selling
artwork, jewelry, books, &c. - the Early Bird pricing of $40 for a spot
ends on 10 August (next week!), and will be $50 from 11 August onwards.
Non-profit community group spots continue to be free.

And see you in the park for WR Nonviolence DITP!
