[KWPeace-groups] Local Call to Action: Protest the Bulldozing of Encampments!

Greetings all,

Following the *bulldozing of a homeless encampment
<https://kitchener.ctvnews.ca/it-s-heartbreaking-homeless-camp-in-kitchener-dismantled-by-region-of-waterloo-1.5683780>*
by Regional Bylaw and police at the corner of Charles St. E & Stirling Ave
yesterday, a *local call to action* has emerged to:

   - Stop the growing criminalization of homelessness.
   - Reallocate the colossal police budget into life-giving services.
   - Spotlight the prevailing lack of support for the hundreds of people
   sleeping rough this winter.
   - Stand up for a more compassionate community.

A *protest* will be held at the *corner of Charles St. E and Stirling Ave*
at *1 PM* on *Sunday, November 28*.

*Donations *of *tents*, *sleeping bags* or *cash *are welcome from anyone
with the available means or connections.
