[KWPeace-groups] Local Action, re: International Day of Peace

Greetings all,

I hope this finds everyone well!

I'm just wondering if there are any local actions planned for the
International Day of Peace on Sept 21? With the federal election on Sept 20
and COP26 on Nov 1, this could be a great opportunity to gather in
solidarity, celebrate peace, voice constructive demands, and address issues
relevant to our community. If anyone is aware of existing plans, I'd be
delighted to learn more! And if no such plans have yet been made, perhaps
this is a good opportunity to start envisioning something together?

P.S. I'm also wondering if there is a Slack channel or something similar
for KW Peace - some kind of instant messaging platform where we can
communicate more rapidly and flexibly, share critical news and resources,
and so on? If so, is there any way I could get looped in? And if not,
perhaps this is something to consider moving forward?
