Wearing one of my other hats, I'd also like to let you know about the WR
Nonviolence Day In The Park, taking place on Saturday, 21 July 2018 from
noon to 5:00pm on Roos Island at Victoria Park.

This is the 14th year in which we raise awareness of nonviolence as a
way of living our everyday lives. We celebrate with music and spoken
word performances in the gazebo, children's games, and, of course,
community groups with information booths and activities (yoga,
meditation) along the walking path on the island.

All of the groups in KWPeace are aligned with the values of WR
Nonviolence, (after all, that's what KWPeace is about) and we'd love to
have your group as an exhibitor!

and bring it to one of our regular meetings, every Tuesday at 7:00pm in
the Queen Street Commons Cafe, or you can e-mail the completed form to

If you need a table or tent we have those available for $15 each;
otherwise participation is completely free.
