Hello,
I'm on your email list, but haven't yet had a chance to attend a meeting.
If you friend is interested in individuals as well as groups, one of our church members, Kandace Boos, is an artist who uses her artwork for social change - especially around Indigenous rights. If you or they are interested, please message me back individually and I'll be happy to pass on her contact information.

Subject: [KWPeace-groups] Visual artists (laura?) for social justice?
hi, all,
A student working on a magazine article is asking us online if we know of any social justice groups in the area who use Visual Arts to make / inspire change, particularly textile, but any Visual Arts would be welcome for her article. Folks from KW Animal Save sometimes do chalking, and she said this would be great, so I am sending her to those people, but if others know of other groups, that would be helpful. Laura ... not sure if plays count, but maybe so...
Thanks, Mo
