Thanks, Emily! I would just suggest shortening it a bit ... so I did a sample here, and then again  below with what I changed (square brackets for deletions, and caps for additions). Hope this works ... attention spans get shorter and shorter these days. Also, can I get a copy of the poster? With logos? Will there be hard copies to post? Thanks,Mo

I put "Perspectives on Peace" on the calendar last week Monday:

http://kwpeace.ca/event/ perspectives-on-peace-local- approaches-to-positive-change/ ?instance_id=1804

and the Twitter announcement is at
https://twitter.com/kwpeace/ status/770167049662365700 (admittedly less
than spectactular).

The Facebook event is at
https://www.facebook.com/ events/499727313556916/ on which Emily
provided the following blurb (below)

Today I gave the event a registration page:

http://kwpeace.ca/ eventsmanager/perspectives-on- peace-local-approaches-for- positive-change/

I haven't opened registrations yet; I'd like to hear how well the
registrations for the Potluck Planning Meeting went so that we can
decide whether we use this software, "EventsManager".

If anyone would like to evaluate the EventsManager software (ie.
manage the list of attendees) let me know. If you find it useful then
you can use it for your own group's bookings -- that's why we have a
shared KWPeace calendar, after all!
