Hello All,

Just wondered if you're aware of the Labour Day picnic Monday in Waterloo
Park (Westmount entrance) noon to 4. See wrlc.ca .

If a couple of you would like to have a table at it, I don't think it would
be too late to ask either Marc Xuereb or Dave Eales marc at wrlc.ca ,
dave at wrlc.ca .

Or maybe you'd just like to come and check it out. It's open to all, free
burgers + hot dogs, music, and kids' activities. Donations go to United Way.

Hope some can make it.

BTW, Labour's holding a big rally Oct 1 at Queen's Park for improved
minimum wage and working conditions for temp, contract, and part-time
workers ("precarious workers").  I plan to be on a bus from Kitchener to
the rally.  I don't know what time the bus will get back but I expect
around 5.  If not too tired I'll drop over to QSC then.
