[KWPeace-groups] location for October 1st

I will book the cafe, but I am not sure about the timing, I think
Saturday afternoons are a precious commodity (as are Saturday evenings)
- if you move it to an earlier start - we are asking folks to give us up
both. It could also be complicated if we are asking folk to register
for an event - and 80 people show up at 3pm - the cafe's regular guest
may well feel put out - in fact the cafe may not even go for it.
I feel we owe it to Simon to fill the room - and I don't think we an do
that if the cafe is open. What about :
4pm - intro, and speed dating
5pm - small groups discussions (themed as discussed)
6pm - dinner and further discussion
7pm - simon
8pm next steps discussion and wrap up
The event isn't as long, but we accomplish what we intended - we could
also switch simon and dinner - or have them together -
I am definitely not trying to be contrary, but I am a bit concerned
about some of the challenges of starting while the cafe is open.
Either way - I will book it now, thanks,
laura
